Summer Camp 2014

Student Ministry Parents,

We have an amazing camp planned for this summer. John Evans will be our camp pastor, and Brett Rutledge & Band will be our worship leaders. John & Brett have both been at Student Ministry events at FBCO in the past year, and our students know them well.

Camp will provide our students a chance to get away from the busyness of life and retreat. They will have a chance to grow in their faith through worship services, small group Bible studies, and personal quiet times. Please prayerfully consider allowing your teenager to attend camp with us. Last year we had several students place their faith in Christ while at camp.

Our focus this year will be on three things: Faith, Obedience, & Worship. We will discuss how we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ; which leads us to obedience; which in turn leads us to worship God. This will be a great week for your student to dig deeper into scripture and understand more about the Gospel.

Camp provides an opportunity for students to have fun and make new friends. Many friendships in the Student Ministry are developed or strengthened during this week. The camp includes paintball, zip lines, a ropes course, water slides, wave pool, lazy river, and we’ll go white water rafting. It’s a lot of fun!
