We as christians have a mission to go out and spread the word of Christ to those around us. But with that comes the daily hardships of fear, intimidation and laziness to do so.
Galatians 6:9 is a verse that helps someone persevere and push on to shine the light that Jesus encourages us to show to others.
It says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (NIV)This means that if we push through our fear and bashfulness and show others the love and power of Christ, we will be rewarded.
This is a daily encourager that reminds me that no matter what troubles I face, if I push through and continue to show God’s glory to others, I will be rewarded in Heaven when this life is over, which is a heavy burden to have removed. Sharing the gospel is something Christians fear, and are too shy to do because of the possible reactions the person they’re witnessing to might have. But, it is reassuring to know that if we press on and complete the race Christ began, there is a sweet life waiting for us through eternity in heaven.
