Day 8

Hannah DeGrange (12^th Grade)

This devotion pretty much slapped me in the face. I think a lot of the time we don’t step back and appreciate how powerful our God is. We limit Him to a box and when He does something huge in our life, we’re shocked: as if we didn’t think He was capable of doing anything that big in the first place. We need to understand that God is beyond all of our knowledge and can do more in our lives than anything we can wrap our minds around. We limit Him to human standard and are shocked when He exceeds our expectations. My prayer is that we stop trying to fit the Big Man Upstairs into a box and let Him do the unthinkable in our lives.
