Day 13

Tripp Thrash

In the midst of the comfort we live in today, I find myself taking many of my blessings for granted. Just think—we have what many people only dream of having. I can’t help but thank God for all of my blessings, especially the greatest of all, eternal life, knowing that I don’t deserve one based on anything I’ve done or ever could do. It gives me chills just to think about all that the Lord has blessed us with out of His great love. We have clothes, warm homes, food, and clean water, not to mention all of the modern conveniences we have to enjoy. When we are truly thankful for all of our blessings, we stay humble and content which keeps our eyes fixed on our Savior.

One way we can praise and bring honor and glory to Christ is to be good stewards of all of the blessings He has given us. We can wear appropriate clothing, text uplifting and Christ like things to our brothers and sisters, use social media as a tool for sharing what God is doing in our lives, and we can even use computers to prepare and share uplifting music and messages to praise Him! As we enter this time of year, I challenge myself and my brothers and sisters in Christ to take just a few minutes out of our hectic lives to praise and honor our Savior by being truly thankful and good stewards of all He has blessed us with.
