Thursday we had an even better turn out at our VBS sites than the previous days which was so encouraging. It was our last full day and a great note to end on. In the afternoon, all our groups went to the Georgetown Apartment complex and hosted a block party for the community. We had lots of people come and we were able to have many Gospel centered conversations through our time there. We did a concert for them, face painted, made crafts, grilled hot dogs, played basketball, and much more! 

We ended the day with worship and group time. It was so good to come together as a church and hear how the Lord has been working all week in each different group, each different conversation, in different ways! 

Friday morning we will head to the WWII museum in downtown NOLA, eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp company and then head home! Please pray for our team as we travel back to Opelika. We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness to provide for us and reveal Himself to us this week. What a special week in Louisiana!
